Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive Japanese energy healing practice rooted in the concept of universal life energy. The word “Reiki” combines two Japanese terms: Rei, commonly interpreted as universal or spiritual wisdom, and Ki, meaning life energy. Within traditional Reiki teachings, this energy is understood to transcend physical distance, forming the foundation of distance Reiki practices. Remote sessions offer an opportunity to experience Reiki's calming, restorative qualities from the comfort of your own space, without the need for physical presence. The modern Reiki system was developed in Japan by Mikao Usui in the early 20th century and continues to be practiced worldwide as a complementary approach to relaxation, energetic balance, and whole-person well-being.

Remote Reiki offers a personalized approach to supporting relaxation, emotional balance, energetic harmony, and whole-person well-being, without the need for physical presence or scheduled appointments.

Each session is personally conducted by Dr. Alex, Reiki Master, PhD in Spiritual Medicine, MA in Counseling, and RYT-500, drawing upon traditional Reiki principles, extensive study of yogic philosophy, and integrative energy medicine practices.

Rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach, Dr. Alex tailors each session to your individual intentions, concerns, and energetic priorities, bringing together professional education, specialized training, and a thoughtful, individualized approach to mind-body-spirit well-being.

Remote Reiki Healing — Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to be available, meditating, or resting during my Reiki session?

No. Your Reiki session is conducted remotely and asynchronously, so you do not need to be online, meditating, or following a particular routine. You may continue your normal daily activities while Dr. Alex conducts your personalized session.

How does remote Reiki work without an appointment or video call?

After selecting your service, you complete a confidential intake form describing your concerns and intentions. Dr. Alex then conducts your Reiki session independently, using traditional distance Reiki practices and focused intention. No Zoom calls, phone appointments, or real-time participation are required.

What will I receive after my Reiki session?

You will receive an email confirming that your session has been completed, along with a brief personalized summary of the session and any relevant observations. A more extensive written Biofield Scan assessment is included only when you select the combined assessment and Reiki package.

What is the difference between Remote Reiki and the Biofield Scan + Reiki package?

A standalone Remote Reiki session focuses on relaxation, energetic balance, and your individual intentions through traditional Reiki practices.

The combined package includes a separate Biofield Scan Energy Assessment with written findings, followed by a personalized 60-minute Remote Reiki session informed by the energetic patterns explored in your assessment.

Can I request Reiki for a specific emotional or energetic concern?

Absolutely. Your intake form allows you to describe areas of focus such as emotional tension, feeling energetically depleted, chakra balance, personal transitions, or overall well-being. Your session is individualized around the intentions you share.

Is Remote Reiki a substitute for medical or mental health care?
